Leadership
Over my final year of school I was given the amazing opportunity to become the school's male Vice-captain
My Experience being a Leader
At the end of year 11, I was lucky enough to be chosen to be the 2024 School Vice-Captain for CCSC alongside Keisha Hudson and our Captains Xavier Williams and Belle Stammers. Having had the opportunity to represent the CCSC as a school leader has been an immense privilege. It has helped me to develop my leadership, organisation and communication skills and it has allowed me to connect with both the senior and primary parts of the school. This role has tested me in the best ways and has given me various opportunities. I am so thankful that the staff members at CCSC believed in me enough to let me take this role as I wouldn't trade it for the world.
My role as a school captain from day one has always been to represent the college to the best of my abilities and to set not only a good example for my fellow students, both primary and high school, but to leave a positive mark on the school, which future leaders will continue.

Being the Vice-Captain, I have found that my role in the leadership of school is connecting with all students in the college whether it be primary or secondary. Along with my fellow captains we have undertaken organising many different school event such as sports assemblies, charity events, general sport assemblies and our schools ANZAC day service. Continuing from that, myself and Keisha participated in Trek4Vets which is an overnight walk designed to give up a night of your sleep in memory of the countless nights that the ANZACs gave up.

My time being a school leader was nothing short of exciting and I hope that next year's leaders are able to have as much fun with the role that I have had.
